MELissa Sanders

(Owner)

Hi, I’m Melissa Sanders, and I’ve been doing hair for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always styling people’s hair because I genuinely loved it and thought it was fun—turns out, that passion never went away. I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2000 after graduating from Moraine Park Technical College, and I’ve been behind the chair ever since.

My favorite service to offer is hair coloring—any and all types. From subtle changes to bold transformations, I love using color to help my clients feel confident and refreshed.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family—my husband, son, daughter, and our dog and cat. I love traveling (especially to warm places) and attending sporting events like baseball, volleyball, and racing.

I truly enjoy what I do and take pride in creating a comfortable, welcoming experience for every client who sits in my chair.

Karlie KEmmel

(Stylist)

I’ve loved doing hair for as long as I could hold a pair of scissors. What started as styling friends and family naturally grew into a career I truly enjoy. I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2023 after graduating from the Advanced College of Cosmetology in Waupun, and I’ve been passionate about helping people feel confident in their hair ever since.

Because I personally live with alopecia areata, I understand how important hair can be to confidence and self-expression. That experience has shaped my approach behind the chair — I focus on creating healthy styles and personalized solutions that enhance natural beauty while helping clients feel comfortable and secure.

My favorite service is color — from subtle dimension to bold transformations. Coloring allows both my client and me to be creative and design something completely unique to them.

When I’m not at the salon, you’ll probably find me at a concert, traveling (especially anywhere with mountains and hiking trails), or reading dystopian fantasy novels. One of my favorite recent trips was visiting Pretty Place Chapel in South Carolina — a view I’ll never forget.

I love meeting new people and helping them leave my chair feeling confident, refreshed, and truly themselves.
